My next burning desire - Z750 and Audi Q5

Wednesday, August 11, 2010

Of course these immediate rewards are on my dream wall.

Dua perkara sebelum org mahu mengikut anda

Monday, August 2, 2010

Dalam siri yg lepas, saya membincangkan ttg 2 perkara yg prospk ingin tahu sebelum dia join dlm network anda. Slp prospek join, dia mencari jawapan kepada lagi dua persoalan sbm dia mahu mendengar nasihat anda dan menjadi pengikut anda. Atau sekurang-kurangnya mengiktiraf anda sebagai leader.

Jawapan yg mereka cari adalah:
  1. Adakah anda kompiten (competent)? Bermaksud, adakah anda mempunyai cukup ilmu ttg selok belok biz anda?
  2. Adakah anda mempunyai arah tuju? (do u have direction?)

Friday, July 30, 2010

Pernah tak anda berada dalam situasi, di mana tatkala anda duduk di depan prospek utk STP (Show the Plan), anda merasakan, atau anda tanya dalam hati:

apakah agaknya orang depan aku ni pikir ek?

  1. Do u really care about me? Adakah anda benar-benar mahu menolong prospek mendapatkan apa yg diimpikannya?
  2. Can i trust u?

Crackin' the millionaire code

Tuesday, July 27, 2010

Wow! I am sooo into this song right now. It is called 'Crackin the millionaire code', given by my mentor a couple of months back. It's a grreat song! I have never heard of the singer, but she sings very well. Whoever wants to hear this song, do let me know ya? Here's an excerpt of the lyrics:

Are you ready to go
Are you tired of choosing a longer road
Are you ready to solve a mystery

Do you want to know
Do you want to lighten a heavy load
Do you want to meet your destiny

Get up, get up and choose
It's not a question of fate
Take control, time to move
It's never too late

It's already here inside
The answer to your dreams
You've got the keys, so decide
It's easier that it seemed
With the higher power guiding you
Your life will explode
You're gonna be crackin the millionaire code
...
....
.....

Beautiful and powerful lyrics right? I guess this song is meant for people like us, people who are somewhat 'mad, bonkers, round the bend'.. people who would never be understood by common people just because we have some uncommon dreams.. but like Alice (as in Alice in Wonderland) said to Mad Hatter when he asked her if he's mad "all the great people are"..

Buku Paling Baik Untuk Belajar Tentang Manusia

Wednesday, July 21, 2010

Ada seorang networker yang berjaya pernah berkata, "i wouldn't get my success today without learning about people principle taught in this book, and you know what, i am still reading it until today and still learning or at least being reminded of what people around us always wanted and appreciate and magnet to you"

People business

Saturday, July 17, 2010

Network marketing adalah satu industri/biz yg asasnya adalah org/manusia.

It is a truly people biz.
Iainya melibatkan kita utk:
  • bertemu atau membawa orang ke event mingguan utk tunjukkan biz kita (sharing/show the plan)
  • kita register/enroll orang dengan bayaran (recruit)
  • kita encourage orang follow sistem (development/motivation)

Burn the Ship!

Monday, June 28, 2010

If you are doing this business on a part time basis, this is probably the most priceless piece of advice that someone could give you and this is the same advice that my long-time mentor had given me once: BURN THE SHIP! And I still need to hear this advice, again, and that's why I am bringing up this subject.

Burning the ship does not necessarily mean that you have to quit your job, but whatever it is that you are holding onto for security (like a day time job) is keeping you mentally unprepared to pursue your business with the full determination needed for you to succeed.

As Stone Evans cleverly said 'INTERNALLY, you must find a way to "burn your ships of security" and start relying on your business AS IF IT'S THE ONLY THING YOU'VE GOT'. Doesn't matter if you don't know who this guys is, but the statement does make lots of sense right? If the business is your sole source of income, wouldn't you work harder for it? In fact, you would work the hardest!

Want to know how a ship on fire looks like? Have a feel...

Pie in the Sky

Monday, June 21, 2010

When talking about great opportunities like network marketing, real estate, etc., you know the kind of options that would make us huge amount of money, most of us could not help but have this at the back of our heads 'oh, that's is great, but it is just a pie in the sky'.. To those who are not familiar with this idiom, it is about something very promising that's just isn't going to materialize. Like the following composition from 'The Preacher and the Slave' by legendary labor hero Joe Hill, which is then became part of the widely distributed 'little red songbooks' of the Industrial Workers of the World:

You will eat, bye and bye,
In that glorious land above the sky;
Work and pray, live on hay
You'll get pie in the sky when you die.

However, as many of the great leaders (in whatever fields they may be) would tell us, everything is possible. And I couldn't agree more.

In Usana, I see people come and go. They came with great anticipation that they're going to make it in this business. And they should be. What went wrong? Not enough fire inside of them to get them through the challenges? Not enough action on their part? Not consistent? May be..

We've been mentored and coached on how to do this business in the best possible ways. It is really up to us to work it so that it will work for us. Doesn't matter from which angle you look at it, Usana is definitely not another pie in the sky...

Great Marketing Plan

Friday, June 18, 2010

I heard too many times about this. It made people mad, sad, and frustrated at the same time. It's about a great marketing plan went sour. And I heard it again a couple of days ago. And it just broke my heart to think about all those people that worked so hard, thinking that they could earn the promised reward, that's just not going to materialize. It would not come just as rain on their parade, we're talking about hurricanes!

And why do these things happened in the first place? Many reasons. But for me, I think there are 2 reasons. One, the marketing plan was prepared shabbily. Not enough calculations and analysis were done to justify the figures offered. And second, it was done to lure people in. Either case, it is bad. They say that life is not always peachy-creamy. Well it could be, at least as far as marketing plan is concerned.

For network marketers, I think the first thing that they have to do when they want to join a certain company is that they have to look for stability of the company. If the company has existed for more that 10 years, it is a good company. Then look at how many times during their existance have they changed their marketing plan. Many changes means bad. And then, look at the marketing plan itself (with the help of a senior associate that is). If it is never been changed but nobody could understand it, watch out. There is a possibility that you will never get the bonuses promised. There is a trick somewhere, hidden in that marketing plan. Or maybe it is only good for the top people, which is not so good for the new ones that just joined the company.

Anyhow, since the inception of Usana, they have never changed their marketing plan until a couple of years ago when they actually added more good stuff to the existing one to make it even better to their associates. There are many good things about Usana marketing plan such as easy to understand, helps the newly joined associates to get money fast, the 100% overriding bonus that's not found enywhere else, etc, etc, etc. Just take time to really understand it, and I am definitely confident that you will be amazed. As my friend was telling me, "the more you know about Usana, the more you will love the company"..

Of pully and PEARLS

Thursday, May 27, 2010

I had a chance to meet with one of my great mentors lately, although not a one-on-one kind of thing, I still feel like he was talking directly to me ;) Anyway, he was talking about network marketers and although we meant good to our prospects, they seemed to be running away from us. And because of this, sometimes it makes us feel doubtful - are they running away because it is us or because they don't like the business?

And according to my mentor, this is because network marketers are 'generally' pushy. This is just a generalization you see.. But that's the perception that most people have about us. And instead of pushy, we should be pully. And how, you asked? Ok, here goes.

When we meet people, after introducing our name, take great interest in them. Ask them sincerely, not with that I-am-going-to-get-their-name-cards-no-matter-what intention at the back of our head. Then ask them, what are they currently working on. And they will tell you. Oh yes, people love it when we ask what they are up to, with the exceptions of some sickos, that is. When they tell you, listen. And when they are finished, ask them how we can be of assistance to what they are doing or ask if we find somebody that could help them, how could we contact them. That is one.

Then they will ask us, what are we doing. Although we want jump up and to tell them what we do and could actually spend the next 4 hours talking to them about our great marketing plan, don't! I repeat, don't. Then ask them, what else are you working on? And repeat the same process above. Then ask the third question - what else are you working on? And repeat the process again. Why we asked 3 times? This is to show that we are really interested to listen to them and the best part is that, they are going to make an effort to listen to us. You get the idea?

Next, when they ask us, what are we doing, don't jump and explain the products and the marketing plan there and then. Just tell them that we are currently working with a network marketing company called Usana and we are looking for people that meet our criterias to be our next business partner - people who are positive, entreprenual, action oriented, relationship oriented, leader and successful but not contented (PEARLS). And we ask them this "would you happen to know somebody that meets this criteria"? And take it from there.

And according to my mentor, that is how we get to be pully. This might not suit some of us, but I like this approach. They may not become my next business partner, but somehow with this approach I think I will have many, many friends in a long run. Don't you think so?

Monkeys

Wednesday, May 5, 2010

I may sound harsh, but monkeys, they are everywhere! Lots and lots of them around. I meet monkeys on daily basis in my pursuit of developing huge banana farms so that I could reap the fortune from these farms, and have lots of bananas to eat too! You see, knowing that monkeys like bananas very much, I thought monkeys would make great business partners. However, when I present them the idea, most of these primates would just snare at me, stick their tounges at me or even make OOO-OOO-AAA-AAA sound, and some days they even do this in groups! Snaring is quite ok but to be made fun of is something that I do not enjoy.

But looking at the bright side of it, these will be great stories to tell to my family especially my grandchildren, when I am in the middle of the banana farm, having a picnic with them, with great banana cake as a desert. And where would the monkeys be? God knows, they may still be on that same tree where they made me that OOO-OOO-AAA-AAA sound, hoping to eat a nice, ripe, delicious banana..

La La Land

Wednesday, April 21, 2010

When we are new in the business, everything seems so exciting. We can practically see names dropped from the ceiling when we lie down. Names of the prospects that is. We kind of wonder why other people are not interested in this business. We may be sitting down, but inside, we 'rock' with excitement.

After some time, after some rejections, we started to feel less motivated. Less amazed with the business. And if this is not curbed, we will then journey to the dangerous world. Welcome to the La La Land. The land that is free from the constant thought of the need to call our prospects, free from going to an appointment and have it cancelled at the last minute, free from rejections, etc, etc, etc..

Don't go there. It is dangerous, and it is contagious. We don't want the whole of our group vacationing in that big bad La La Land. Networking business is full of challenges. No pain, no gain. We heard about this a lot. But somehow it does not stick in our heads. To be a millionaire, we are expected to go through a lot of challenges like a boat on an open sea.

And that is why most of the sifus in network marketing are suggesting that we visualize our dreams by having a dream book. Heck, I know a person who has a dream wall. Talk about big dreams! We are also encouraged to hang out with the people who are practically in the same boat as us to change ideas, discuss and help each other, go to the related functions, listen to motivational audios and read books (and they better not be the sci-fi or love story kind of books!).

The way I see it, the business is easy to do and it is easy not to do. Question is, are we tough enough? Are we willing to pay the price in order to get to the land of our dreams? Can we sacrifice our TV time to do this business? Willing to take away some of our free time on weekends to see potential business partners?

It would be sad to be able to have a glimpse of the land of our dreams but later blocked by the temporarily exciting place called La La Land.

Comprende?

Never Lose Your Reputation

Sunday, April 18, 2010

Askm. I have once a privileged to sit with a billionaire in Network Marketing. Among all, his advice was 'never ever lose your reputation'. And i don't know why that phrase stuck in my head for years up until i'm writing this.

He said, "if you lose money, you lose nothing. If you lose a friend, you lose something. But, if you lose your reputation, you lose everything."

Lots of leaders in Networking world who lost control of the huge money that they earn and start to invest in something that is not wise, in fact sometimes being conned to something illegal. Probably drive by certain reasons, including greeds, they actually not only killing the network that has been earning them money, but also their invaluable reputations.

Lose of reputation will make them very hard to come back to the existing group, furthermore to the world of Networking. I myself has met 2 top leaders who lose their integrity. From having 6 luxurious cars to riding a second-hand honda-kapcai. In fact, the other use his feet and public transport for travelling around.

So, touch your forehead now, and repeat this declaration "I will not lose my reputation, hence my good name. i'm a good leader who earns his respects from his group."

Hunger

Tuesday, April 13, 2010

I met some interesting people in the last couple of weeks. There are people who are afraid to open up for this business (maybe they are afraid of failure, I presumed, coz they're not telling), there are people who looked interested but hesitant to join in for some reasons, and there are people who wanted to join but they don't have the money.

As mentioned in one of the classes that I attended in my pursuit of becoming a millionaire in network marketing some eons ago (don't laugh, some people have big dreams, including me), these are all 'masks'. They are not valid reasons. The real reasons they didn't want to join is because of their lack of 'hunger'. They don't hunger to get more in life, to achieve something bigger, to be successful. So let them be. I have shown them the way. I have done my part. It's not my fault that they want to stay as they are, forever if they may.

Ada aku kisah?

Excitement dan Hope

Thursday, April 1, 2010

Excitement(ke-teruja-an) dan hope (harapan) bukanlah seperti chicken and egg, yang manakah hadir dulu?

Namun, ada juga org yg mempunyai impian yg intangible spt, sense of winning, self development, financial freedom, time freedom, etc.

Are u excited?

Lifestyle impian

Monday, March 8, 2010

Semasa saya kecil dahulu, saya pernah mengimpikan satu lifestyle yg cukup hebat.

Bahkan kita merasakan 'nothing to lose' sekiranya kita berhenti membinanya.

Enjoy the video:

Jutaan Terima Kasih Bro RH

Thursday, March 4, 2010

Alhamdulillah, sekarang saya berada dlm keadaan yg sgt baik bersama biz USANA.

Bro RH tdk pernah putus asa dgn saya. Bayangkan kalo dia putus asa dgn ego kebudak-budakkan saya, sudah tentu saya sekarang penuh dgn stress di tempat kerja serta sentiasa menunggu-nunggu gaji atau bonus setiap hujung bulan.

(Gambar) Dari kiri, Bro RH and Bro ZMZ.

Maka benarlah kata-kata Collette Larsen, Top Income Earner USANA, "Usana business is a relationship business"

NDO 2/2010

Monday, February 22, 2010

It was a great NDO session that we had last Sunday. Kudos to the speakers who delivered some very, very good presentations in their own unique way. Tapi yang paling mencuit hati adalah Silver Director Reza with his hang lagi teruk dari mayat ka?

But the word that kept on coming up in most of the presentations was ACTION. And I think it is the most appropriate word especially now, when the most anticipated Usana momentum is here. No Action = No Business. As simple as that. Period.

And as usual, Dr Z was brilliant in closing the session. (Will all of us be brilliant like that when we are Emeralds? Definitely!) And having people to commit to their goals to become GOLD, oh wow! There will be lots of people going to Taipei this year, and I congratulate all of them in advance for it.

Here are some pictures from the NDO.

Zaid, Jemi and Kamal - all the way from JB

Our Emerald Director - Dr Z (noticed that he always wear shades these days, I wonder why..)

Reza - the ever cool & selamba guy..

Wow Now

Saturday, February 13, 2010

Here's the book that I am reading now. It's a great book by Robert G. Allen. He is a millionaire and he is one of the big guys in Usana. But he was a millionaire first, and then he joined Usana. And because of that, I am reading this book.

One of the concepts that he talks about is Wow now. We have to visualize the kind of life that we would like to have, feel it, taste it, smell it, as if it is real.

Just close your eyes and imagine you are in your dream home. How does it look like? What color is the curtain? Are there any windows? How's the furniture look like? Can you smell the food that's cooking? Who are the people there in your house? How do you feel? I think you get the idea.. It has to be so real that you'd say WOW! You can do this any time - while commuting to the office, before going to bed, whenever. Just turn off all the noise (TV, radio, etc) and be with your dreams.

But don't think about how you'd get there, just focus on the end result. When we're sold out to our dreams, we'll manage the how.

I am currently visualizing a wonderful month-long vacation somewhere with my family, doing all sorts of things (which includes shopping of course!). And I am just going to say - WOW!

Produk USANA mengikat hati persahabatan
